INFORMATION ABOUT PRE-TASK
Participants were asked to briefly describe the standardization and marker training procedures applied in their institutions during the whole group session in the morning. Each institution was allotted 3 minutes for the presentation and a further 2 minutes will be provided for follow-up questions. The aim of this presentation was to give other participants an initial idea about practices at your institution.
The following questions were used as guidance while preparing the presentation:
- Do you train exam administrators (proctors and interlocutors) before tests? What is the procedure that you follow? Do you have any institutional documents that assist your training?
- How and when do you standardize and train markers at your institution (for both objective and subjective tests)? Who is involved? How much time is allocated? What kind of institutional documents assist your training?
